Running on Empty

How does one make the connection between God’s Tank of Mercy, Love, and Grace and our hearts that need a fill up? Or – How does what’s in Him become what is in us?

1.      Head

1 John 4.16 So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.

2 Timothy 3.14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it, 15 and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness

Proverbs 2. 4 if you seek it like silver, and search for it as for hidden treasures 5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;

2.      Heart

1 John 4.16 – above & 2 Timothy 3.14 – above

Acts 24. 22 But Felix, who was rather well informed about the Way, adjourned the hearing . . . Then he ordered the centurion to keep him in custody, but to let him have some liberty and not to prevent any of his friends from taking care of his needs. 24 Some days later . . . he sent for Paul and heard him speak concerning faith in Christ Jesus. 25 And as he discussed justice, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, "Go away for the present; when I have an opportunity, I will send for you."

3.      Hands

Philippians 4. 9 Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

HEAD – FACTS

HEART – FAITH

HANDS – FORCE/ACTION
