Neighborhood cooperative ministries
Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries (NCM) is a faith-based, non-profit, ecumenical ministry dedicated to providing emergency assistance to families in Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Doraville and Tucker, Georgia of Gwinnett County.
Angel Tree - Holiday assistance for families
Each November & December we work together to purchase gifts for children and families in our community. The tree goes up each November.
UMCOR - Cleaning Kits
Each year we gather items for the UMCOR cleaning kits and deliver them.
Youth Mission Trip
Every June the Mt. Carmel Youth Group go on a mission trip. This summer they traveled to the Golden Isles to work along the Georgia Coast.
Local School Partnerships
We love partnering with schools in our community to support the teachers, staff, and students.
Holiday assistance for families through our Angel Tree project.

United Methodist Committee on Relief-UMCOR
UMCOR works through programs that address hunger, poverty, sustainable agriculture, international and domestic emergencies, refugee and immigrant concerns, global health issues, and transitional development. These programs are categorized into three major areas: Humanitarian Relief / Disaster Response, Sustainable Development and Global Health.

GLOBAL MISSIONARY Ellyn Dubberly Sponsorship
Ellyn Benson Dubberly is a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church serving as a leadership development coordinator in Central America. She was commissioned in June 2013. In Central America, Ellyn was drawn in by the way in which the church includes children, youth, and women in worship. There are several women pastors. Young people are actively involved in worship leadership and evangelism. “My heart melted in Communion when all the children were served first, a beautiful reminder of Jesus welcoming children in his arms and blessing them,” she says.
