Mt. Carmel Preschool meets Monday-Fridays from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, September through May. Ages range from 12 months to five years, with several options available for each age group. Teacher-student ratios are low; the curriculum is hands-on and developmentally-based, aligning with the Georgia Early Learning Developmental Stages (GELDS).  

Our teachers are proponents of play-based learning and instruction. Our Board Chairman, Lorrie Ignatius, taught at the Jarvenpaan Englantilainen Leikkikoula school and carried knowledge from Finland to Norcross, incorporating the best techniques from both countries, making Mt. Carmel Preschool a child-centered learning environment.

Enrichment activities include morning Chapel, weekly music and movement class, and our three and four-year-olds participate weekly in a science special.

We offer several special events and programs throughout the year.
