Mt Carmel is a great place to grow in your faith and grow in friendships! As you peruse these ministry pages, consider how God is calling you to grow as a disciple and make a difference in the lives of others.

  • United Methodist Women

    We have a long tradition of fellowship and service in the church, the community and beyond. We have three “circles”, small groups for fellowship and service.


    How to Connect: The Sunday Circle meets for lunch on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 12:30 pm, usually in the Hope House. The Day Circle meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am in the Hope House. The Friday Night Circle meets the 2nd Friday of each month at 7:00 pm, in the Hope House, or sometimes in members' homes or at an event.


    Meeting format: desserts / lunch, fellowship, missions program or service project.

  • Men's Ministry

    Men, All ages.

    We meet the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm for fellowship and service.  Places vary and are shared via  Sunday announcements and email.  In addition to the twice yearly BBQ, we build relationships with God and one another on the Annual Men's Retreat in February.

  • book Club

    All women are invited to join the Women's Book Club which meets on the 1st Friday of the month at 7:00 pm.  

  • Sunday Mornings with reverend Lynne

    Reverend Lynne host a Spiritual Life study and discussion for adults each Sunday at 11:00 am in the Youth Hall. (Currently being held via ZOOM)

  • transformers (11:00)

    Co-Ed, Adult, 20’s-60’s. Most of us attend the 9:30 service. Some of us are married and attend this group together; Others of us are single. We are very social.

    How to connect: Everyone welcome at any time. We gather on Sundays at 11:00 am. Our classroom is upstairs behind the sanctuary.


    Meeting Format: Classes are typically part of a series – either a book study, video, bible study or theme.

  • Pairs & spares (9:45)

    Co-Ed, Adult, 30's and above.  Most members attend the 11:00 service after Sunday School.  Everyone is always welcome as we meet in the Fellowship Hall near the donuts and coffee!


    Meeting is typically a study, video or Bible theme.

Bible Studies


  • Monday Night study

    Co-Ed, Adult, Ages 20-70

    We are a lively, eclectic group from both the 9:30 and the 11:00 am services. We like to ask the HARD questions. We study hard, we laugh a lot and we really enjoy each other’s company. Everyone welcome at any time.

    How to Connect: Try out the discussion on a Monday, 7pm, in the Hope House.


    Class format: Classes are typically part of a series, such as a book about the Bible, a book of the Bible or a theme.
